Wear and Tear No More!

The Starboard Restaurant, a well-known bar and restaurant located in Dewey Beach, Delaware goes through floors like you wouldn’t believe—which is why owner, Steve “Monty” Montgomery, called us to install a durable wood that would stand the test of time.

Our Process

Monty chose 4″ white oak paired with 2-1/4″ walnut to create a sustainable flooring that really pops. The floors were masterfully installed by DiFebo Hardwood Flooring.

The Sentimental Value of a Piece of Wood

Facilities Manager, Mike Helwich, was grateful for the community’s response to the flooring project. When The Starboard Restaurant posted about these renovations on Facebook, loyal customers lined up to take a piece of the original wood!
