The Walsh family entrusted the Wide Plank Floor Supply Team to replace their carpet with wood floors while experiencing the hardship of family member, Kieran’s, illness.
Creating a Healthier Home
Wide Plank Floor Supply rep, Fred Beach, was moved by Kieran’s story and reached out to partners, Bona, Carpenter Joiners Apprentice Program, and Dovelin Enterprises. Bona chipped in and donated Craft Oil 2K and Bona R851 low-VOC adhesive. The local Carpenters Joiners Apprentice Program and Frank Dove of Dovelin Enterprises generously donated their labor. Wide Plank Floor Supply provided a discount on the flooring.
Our Process
Rebecca Walsh chose 9″ live sawn white oak Flooring, a perfect option for those with active youngsters, due to its stability and lack of fluctuation. Not only did this option bring character into the Walsh’s home, but created a healthy, sustainable environment for the family. We were pleased to provide the resources to make this dream a reality.
