As we look back on 2019, we have a lot to be grateful for! Here’s a roundup of some of our favorite projects featuring our wide plank floors this year. View more details about each of these on our Projects page.
White Oak Character Wirebrushed Wide Plank Floor
This was a floor installed in WPFS sales rep Chris Sullivan’s custom-built house. We love the character of it. This floor was completely made to order based on the Sullivans’ specifications. It’s a dark, wirebrushed floor. The wirebrushing creates additional texture and visual interest. Click here to read more about this recipe.
Reclaimed White Oak Barn Wood Floor in Bucks County, PA
This is an engineered, reclaimed, skip planed white oak specified exterior barn wood floor prefinished with Bona Naturale installed in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The flooring features beautiful warm brown tones from the original patina of the barn wood, and black tones from the skip-planing process making for a uniquely rustic wide plank floor.
The combination of the natural patina which developed in the wood over time as well as the weathering that it was exposed over the years creates a very rustic look in this floor. Click here to read more about this project.
12″ Wide Plank Floors at the Jersey Shore
The homeowners wanted a beachy, neutral look for the flooring in their beach house. We were able to achieve that look in these 12” wide floors using the European oil system, giving the floors a matte look that doesn’t distract from the essential character of the wood. Thanks for helping us make 2019 a great year. From our family to yours, we wish you a very happy New Year!
